real miracle stories
George – Iowa
Now five years old, George brings JOY to everyone he encounters with his radiant smile and infectious laughter. Those who meet him often remark that there is something truly special about his eyes, which we believe serve as a window to his soul.
Dr. Nemeh also prayed over George’s mom giving her valuable information to questions she had regarding some health struggles. His prayer and advice helped her tremendously.
May God continue to bless Dr. Nemeh, Kathy, and the many Blessed Reason Trips to come.
PS–This entire experience stemmed from a virtual prayer session with Dr. Nemeh. Christy and Emily organized a small group through the Blessed Reason Trip, allowing each person to receive individual prayers from Dr. Nemeh. It’s essential to remember that God is not limited by time, matter, or space, especially when contemplating the possibility of virtual prayer.
Linda Egbers w/ Ryder- Villa Hills, Kentucky
Believing that God works through others, I decided to take my great-nephew, Ryder, to see Dr. Nemeh, as he was born with Poland Syndrome.
I felt truly blessed to be present with Dr. Nemeh and Ryder during the appointment. Right before my eyes, I witnessed God heal Ryder’s right leg and right foot, making them similar in size to his left leg and left foot!
Additionally, Ryder had been experiencing back pain and difficulty standing up straight, both of which were resolved during his appointment with Dr. Nemeh.
If you’re reading this, I kindly ask that you please continue to pray for Ryder’s complete recovery from all of his ailments. God bless.
Jason Harnum – Daytona Beach, Florida
That all changed once I started noticing that I was tripping and struggling to even walk normally. After numerous medical tests, I was diagnosed with a rare condition called adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN), which primarily affects the spinal cord. The symptoms of AMN can vary widely, but common issues include stiffness, weakness, and pain in the legs, starting gradually and potentially worsening over time.
Before my first conversation with Christy Blake from the Blessed Reason Trip, I discovered Dr. Nemeh. I had undergone several treatments with him prior to my initial phone call with Christy. Dr. Nemeh told me during one of my first appointments with him that he doesn’t see me as actually having adremnomyeloneuropathy. I believe him because Dr. Nemeh has a way of seeing things on a different level than I or most doctors can. Following his initial treatment and assessments, he believed my issues stemmed from a prior injury when I fractured my back He explained that my falls over time had contributed to my inability to walk leading me to take a seat in my scooter that I have been riding around in for some time now as I am approaching my mid-fifties currently.
I was happy to find Christy Blake and her book, “The Power of God…Today.” After reading it for the first time, I reached out to her because she, too, had been a patient of Dr. Nemeh and could speak with me regarding some of the spiritual insights I had learned from Dr. Nemeh during my appointments with him over the years. Speaking with someone who understands how God works through Dr. Nemeh felt refreshing, because most people that haven’t been around him like we have, really struggle to understand just how natural the miracles happen around Dr. Nemeh all the time.
I also wished to discuss how her book influenced me. To date, I have read it three times, as it contains valuable insights on how to approach asking God for healing and the importance of maintaining love and forgiveness in our hearts.
Thanks to my visits with Dr. Nemeh, I have experienced numerous healings. In 2022, I WALKED a 10k race, taking six hours to complete it. It was unconventional, as I pushed my rollator instead of riding in it. I would never have been able to achieve this without Dr. Nemeh’s guidance and the encouragement to embark on this incredible adventure.
The biggest healings have been in my spirit as I now have a renewed vision of living with the purpose of dedicating all my actions to Christ. Initially, I aimed to inspire others in similar situations to mine, but recently, the Holy Spirit has guided me towards prison ministry. This journey has been transformative, intended to help incarcerated men, but it has become a blessing for me, as my presence and conversations with them are making a difference in their lives.
Dr. Nemeh recently made a comment to this saying something like, “What if your entire life has led you to this moment? If you can save just one?”
Through my time with Dr. Nemeh, I believe I have discovered my true purpose in life. I am walking closer with God than ever before, and I have come to realize that nothing is impossible with Him.
Deb Schemmel – Vinton, Iowa
Last September (2023), I started a journey that I never would have guessed in my wildest dreams that my family and I would be on. What began as tailbone discomfort transformed into persistent pain over six weeks, intensifying despite various therapies, doctor visits, x-rays, and medication, as we all assumed it stemmed from my back. This all reached a breaking point on November 2nd, 2023, with me crashing and burning.
An urgent visit to the ER at our local hospital resulted in a critical transfer to a larger hospital, St. Luke’s, due to septic shock, where I was admitted to the ICU. From there on to exploratory surgery. The surgeon said, “We didn’t know what was going on, so I decided I needed to go in and take a look.”
The “look” found a dead colon, and sepsis. I had three surgeries that week. The medical team could not complete everything that needed to be done in one session as I was too critical…and with each surgery, the surgeon offered my family little hope that I would survive.
After the last surgery, she finally told my family that I may just pull through. The first month was pretty rocky, touch and go at times, as I kept getting more diagnoses added to my health record. I spent three and a half weeks in the ICU, connected to more medical equipment than the nursing staff had ever encountered on a single patient, battling sepsis and multiorgan failure, affecting my heart, lungs, and kidneys. This was followed by three and a half weeks on a specialty floor and ten weeks in inpatient rehabilitation.
In the spring of 2024, during my first appointment with my doctor since this all took place, she said, “You are a mystery! You had a healthy GI tract, no GI symptoms, no kinks, no clots, just tailbone pain….and how you are here after everything is amazing!”
The power of prayer! I had many miracles through these weeks, but I felt my biggest miracle was the unfathomable number of prayers on my behalf. It was overwhelming! That, God’s intervention, was my saving grace. I was truly fed spiritually at this time. The visits of our priest, parish life coordinator, the anointing of the sick (which I received twice as Father informed me, “Deb, you know you get this each time you go to a new place”), the visits, messages, Bible readings, and hymns from another local pastor, daily communion and prayers from volunteer Eucharistic ministers, and Christian music playing in the background in my room at all times. I knew that I was in God’s hands.
Friends prayed over me, for hours at a time. I learned that my friend Christy Blake, through the Blessed Reason Trip, coordinated prayers for me alongside my dear friend Jenny. They organized a one-on-one virtual prayer session with Dr. Nemeh, where Christy and her daughter Emily held their phone up to me while I was in the ICU as Dr. Nemeh prayed. Before the session started, they began to pray the rosary and described how they saw me silently reciting the words in sync with them despite me being in a coma. Having grown up Lutheran and later converting to Catholicism, I find this astonishing. Christy interprets it as my spirit connecting through the Holy Spirit—it’s a true mystery.
I was also informed that shortly after this, Jenny also joined me in the ICU, holding up her phone for one of Dr. Nemeh’s monthly Zoom calls. Dr. Nemeh and his wife Kathy prayed for me, and at the end, Jenny requested everyone to pray for my recovery. Nearly 100 people prayed simultaneously on my behalf.
As my healing slowly began to take place, I later learned about Dr. Nemeh as Christy gave me the book “Miracles Every Day” that is written about his life and work, along with her own book, “The Power of God…Today” that speaks to what happened to her and her daughter through his prayers as well. Dr. Nemeh uses his gift of medicine and faith to heal.
I AM blessed! My brain, heart and lungs are good, and my kidneys are stable. All moving parts are functional. I have graduated from therapy but still have a long road of exercises to go to regain my strength. I am back to playing the organ and piano for church, one of my loves.
I can look at this whole picture and say, “Why me? Why did this happen to me?” And I have done that. And yet, I can also say, “Why me? Why did I survive, when others have not?”
My husband and I have had these conversations and have come up with this conclusion: Everyone has his/her journey and their own cross to bear. This happens to be the journey that we have been placed on. We are here to help each other on our journeys, however that help presents itself.
God is smack dab in the middle of my story, and if this helps others on their journeys, it has been well worth it.
God is good!
Chip Moellering – Villa Hills, Kentucky
At that time, Susan learned about my wife’s illness and reached out to inform us about Dr. Nemeh and the hope she held for my wife’s healing. Because of this, I had an appointment scheduled, by my wife, for the both of us. I thought we were seeing Dr Nemeh just for my wife, who was suffering from at least 15 different debilitating symptoms for over a year.
My wife and I agreed that we wouldn’t tell anyone that we were seeing a healing, medical doctor as an alternative to the mainstream doctors that we had been seeing for over a year.
I typed out a one-page cover sheet and handed it to Dr. Nemeh’s wife, Kathy. I explained in the letter that I was primarily there to find relief and healing for my wife. But I explained that I had suffered from having two separate strokes, seven and ten years ago at the ages of 45 and 49. I have since fully recovered from both of them (thanks and all glory to God), but I do have double vision in my left eye as a result of the second stroke. I also explained that my right leg was slightly shorter than my left leg and that since I was a young teenager I have suffered from Spondylolisthesis.
Spondylolisthesis is a condition that occurs when a vertebra slips out of place and presses on the vertebra below it. Spondylolysis is a common cause of spondylolisthesis, as a fracture in the pars interarticularis can cause a vertebra to slip out of place.
I sat in on my wife’s appointment and had absolutely no expectation of any healing for me. My appointment in the room immediately occurred after hers. Dr Nemeh explained that I was not born with legs of different lengths and that my lower back pain, Spondylolisthesis, was from an injury.
While I watched in disbelief, Dr Nemeh began pulling on my right toe as I extended my right leg. I felt my leg stretching out. My legs are now the exact same length! Thanks to the Holy Spirit and Dr Nemeh.
Then, Dr Nemeh began applying pressure to my lower back. He began pushing on the exact spot of pain in my lower back, without me telling him or knowing what he was doing. I thought I was going to be pushed out of the chair because he was pushing so hard.
Dr Nemeh said, “Your bulge in your lower back has flattened out”. In disbelief I asked if this correction was permanent. He said, “Of course it is, unless you re-injure your back.”
The Holy Spirit, through Dr Nemeh, healed my Spondylolisthesis 100%. I still can’t believe it and it happened to me! God is awesome, all of the time! Where science meets faith.
My third healing was inside my head as Dr Nemeh laid his hands on me. Dr Nemeh asked the cause of my two strokes. I explained that I have a very thin “variant of normal” thalamic artery known as “The Artery of Percheron”. Both infarcts causing my ischemic strokes occurred on each side of this Artery of Percheron.
Dr Nemeh then placed his hands on my head, and it appeared that he was praying over me. My head/brain had this euphoric feeling of cleansing that lasted a few seconds. I’m not sure what blessing I received but I wouldn’t be surprised if the “Artery of Percheron” has disappeared completely, and my thalamic artery was restored back to normal.
I am now sharing my story with others as proof that we have a living and active God in our lives, who loves us all unconditionally and is always working for our good. We just have to love God with our whole hearts, minds and souls and love our neighbors as ourselves. Love conquers all.
I want to tell my story as a huge thank you to our God, our friend Susan, and to Dr Nemeh and his wife Kathy. I want others to know that my healing through the Holy Spirit and at Dr Nemeh’s hands is just as real as the stories of healing found throughout the Bible. God is REAL! The same healing that I received is available to anyone who has love in their hearts. God actively works mysterious miracles, large and small, throughout our individual lives. My healing, by Dr Nemeh, is a LARGE miracle to me.
Dr Nemeh’s passion to serve and love Christ by loving and serving those in need of healing has inspired me. His drive to work tirelessly every day in healing others out of love and his feeling of obligation to serve God and not to disappoint Him (by not sharing his gift of healing) was incredibly moving and inspiring.
I guess, in such a small way, compared to what Dr Nemeh has done with his life, I, too, want to serve and glorify God by sharing the truth of His love and His absolute existence!! I want others to experience the same unconditional and loving healing in their lives. I want to love my neighbor as myself.
The Holy Spirit should be thought of as a verb (Dr Nemeh mentioned this to us) and is present daily in all of our lives – seen or unseen. Dr Nemeh acts as a conduit of love connecting you directly with the Holy Spirit.
May God bless you as He has us!
Kathy Connolly – Scottsdale, Arizona
At that time, I was gravely ill; my immune system was failing, and I had spent 7 months in hospice care, hovering between life and death. Speaking with someone who had experienced healing firsthand was incredibly reassuring. The abundance of healing stories I had read about and listened to made it hard not to believe in their authenticity, and I firmly believed in God’s power to restore my health. I just wanted to ensure I was taking the right steps towards the healing I desperately needed to survive.
Christy shared her insights and mentioned a book she had recently completed, which she kindly mailed to me. In the meantime, I was waiting for a virtual prayer appointment with Dr. Nemeh that Christy and Emily had arranged. After that prayer session, I felt a deep conviction to see him in person. I understood that I had to actively pursue this healing journey, so I followed the guidance I felt God was providing. This meant driving from Arizona to Ohio, which required significant preparation, including finding a safe place to stay due to my sensitivities to molds and electromagnetic fields.
Before my illness, I was an avid triathlon competitor, having completed numerous half marathons and participated in two Ironman events, as well as being a category 2 cyclist. My health deteriorated after taking a supplement called Protandim, which disrupted my nervous system and triggered a cascade of debilitating issues. My health spiraled out of and subsequently I suffered an injury that led to reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD) throughout my entire body. My intestinal health also suffered, making it nearly impossible to eat or absorb nutrients, and I wasted away to just ninety-three pounds, reduced to primarily skin and bones.
I lost nearly everything in that time frame: my physical and mental well-being, my husband, my job, my home, and even my dignity. It was clear that I needed not just one miracle, but many. I had explored countless avenues for help, spent tens of thousands of dollars, but nothing worked. Yet, deep down, I felt Dr. Nemeh and his prayers held the key to my healing.
The journey to Ohio felt risky; it could have cost me my life, but I saw no alternative. A few people, including Christy, remained hopeful, while most others thought I was wasting my time and money. Nevertheless, I sensed this was my lifeline, a divine answer to the prayers I had uttered for so long.
For four years, I hadn’t laughed or even smiled. I was consumed by anger and pain, with no joy in sight. I scheduled six appointments with Dr. Nemeh over a span of four weeks because I felt compelled to seek more than the normal one or two usual appointments made by most. I don’t know how else to say it, but in my heart, I knew six was necessary for me.
Jesus restored my joy, healed my broken heart, and rejuvenated my spirit. The day after my first appointment, I laughed for the first time in years and even slowly started to enjoy music again. It felt as if God had resurrected me, both body and soul. For the first time in four years, I felt truly alive.
Gradually, my body started absorbing nutrients again, and my dangerously low white blood cell count surged by a thousand points – the first increase I had seen during my illness. I watched in awe as God removed obstacles one by one. I meticulously documented my healing journey to show others that this is not just a fabricated tale; it is my authentic story. Dr. Issam Nemeh is, in my opinion, a living saint, deeply connected to God, and I know no one else like him.
Since my healing, I have returned to competitive athletics. I’ve completed a 10k, a half marathon, and I continue to cycle and train, living life to the fullest for the glory of God. He inspires me, and I want everyone to understand that this can happen to them too. My desire is to help others learn about Dr. Nemeh and to share the message that God is willing to heal us, but we must be ready to ask for help and work on our souls.
My life’s mission now revolves around helping others. I am in the midst of writing my own personal story, which will be published soon. It’s called “Warrior Unstoppable.” This book describes my complete healing journey that started with meeting Dr. Nemeh, highlighting the many blessings God has given me through his prayers.
Susan Neltner – Villa Hills, Kentucky
In March 2021, I began experiencing severe nausea that led to a loss of appetite and thirst. I also started noticing around 30 other new symptoms impacting various parts of my body. By late July 2021, I had unintentionally lost 30 pounds, which frightened me as I couldn’t stop the weight loss. I tried several medications, each of them briefly, but they didn’t alleviate my symptoms and made me feel worse. I attempted a food elimination diet, but found that when I reintroduced any food, it caused more gastrointestinal distress. I settled on a basic but “safe” diet and began logging my calories to maintain my weight. Despite consuming 2000-2500 calories a day, which I had to force myself to eat, I couldn’t regain the weight I lost, and my condition hadn’t improved.
Throughout that year, I made three trips to the ER, where every anti-nausea medication was tried. I underwent numerous tests from various specialists, including lab work, a colonoscopy, an endoscopy, a gastric emptying scan, HIDA scan, chest X-ray, CT scans of my abdomen and head, ultrasounds, EMG tests for muscles and nerves, and an MRI of my brain and spine. Every test came back indicating that I was healthy. In search of answers, I turned to alternative medicine; I tried acupuncture and consulted a chiropractor who suggested I had mold exposure, bacterial overgrowth in my intestines, and leaky gut. We had our home professionally analyzed for mold and received a clean report. I experimented with various vitamins and supplements yet saw no improvement.
I prayed fervently, and many people prayed for me as well. I received the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick three times and attended Mass, Confession, Adoration, and a healing service. Friends had Masses said for me, and I sought heavenly intercession. Daily, I prayed the Divine Mercy Chaplet with a close friend and the rosary with my family. My brother-in-law even lit a candle for me at Sacre Coeur in Paris. Friends and family brought food, flowers, supplements, prayer cards, spiritual books, statues, and holy water from Lourdes and Ukraine. Family and friends who are doctors tried to help me come up with diagnostic tests to request. To stay strong, I took daily walks with friends or family, as fresh air was pretty much the only thing that made me feel better. I connected with a woman facing a similar situation, who offered encouragement and guidance for living with a chronic health condition. I shared my struggles with friends and family who saw my suffering and hopelessness.
My last resort was to seek help from the Mayo Clinic, and I started to figure out the logistics of how to get a referral.
Ultimately, my close friend Kendall Krouse encouraged me to consult Dr. Issam Nemeh in Cleveland. Dr. Nemeh is a very holy doctor who combines his great love of God with his skills as a physician, researcher, and electronics engineering. He surrenders his life completely to God every day, and God works powerfully through him. Kendall learned about Dr. Nemeh from Christine Blake, who experienced healing from several auto immune diseases including systemic lupus and color blindness. Christine has authored three books on her healing journey with Dr. Nemeh and launched the Blessed Reason Trip with her daughter Emily to educate others. With Kendall’s help, I connected with Christine, who assisted me in scheduling appointments with Dr. Nemeh.
In March 2022, I participated in a “Zoom Prayer Meeting” with him and 100 others suffering from various ailments. One participant even experienced healing from paralysis from the neck down following that meeting! Shortly after, I began taking a previously prescribed medication that was said to possibly alleviate nausea, which was expected to take 6-8 weeks to take effect. However, within a few days after the Zoom, my nausea began to subside. After a few weeks, I felt significantly better, although I still experienced many other symptoms.
Christine suggested I schedule a one-on-one virtual appointment with Dr. Nemeh. During this conversation, he revealed that all my symptoms stemmed from an injured neck. This revelation surprised me, as I couldn’t recall any significant neck or back injury, yet somehow, I knew he was speaking the truth. Following this appointment, I continued to improve, and Christine encouraged me to visit Dr. Nemeh in person to expedite my healing process. When I called, I discovered he was booked for a few months, but I was encouraged to join the cancellation list. To my surprise, I was offered an appointment for the following Wednesday!
My husband Marc and I journeyed to Cleveland for the appointment. During my treatment, Dr. Nemeh used his unique diagnostic tools and treatment machines that he had invented, as he has over 24 patents. The machines resembled various forms of vibrating and massaging devices. He confirmed that all my symptoms were caused by one issue, my neck, just as he had indicated over the phone. Coincidentally, I had just learned about the narrowing of my spine at C4-5 right before this appointment, however, other doctors had reassured me that they did not believe this was the source of my symptoms.
While treating me, Dr. Nemeh was silently praying. Christine had advised me to pray during the appointment by contemplating God’s love, forgiving everyone and everything, and surrendering completely to God. After two hours, Dr. Nemeh informed me that my spinal canal was now more open and softer. He assured me I would feel better immediately and continue to improve daily, with all my symptoms gradually diminishing and an increase in energy. He recommended specific supplements and advised me to taper off the medication I was trying, while gradually reintroducing foods to my diet.
Indeed, I felt better and left his office that day with a sense of joy and relief. My appetite returned immediately, and I continued to feel progressively better each day. Many of my symptoms either disappeared or greatly diminished within a few months. After two years, my neck is now fully healed.
The most profound and beautiful healing, however, has been the spiritual transformation that has taken place within me. Immediately after my appointment with Dr. Nemeh, I expressed to my husband my deep desire to help others. He agreed that part of my mission would be sharing Jesus’ healing through Dr. Nemeh with those in need and assisting them in securing appointments.
I also had a strong desire to learn everything about Dr. Nemeh and the miracles that occur when he prays. I read Miracles Every Day: The Story of One Physician’s Inspiring Faith and the Healing Power of Prayer by Maura Poston Zagrans and all three of Christine Blake’s books. I started listening to the podcast Blind Faith Live hosted by Phillip Keller, also known as Trapper Jack. I began sharing my healing story with family, friends, and even strangers when prompted by the Holy Spirit. My friends have noticed a significant change in me, commenting that I seem more relaxed and less burdened by worry.
Jesus and the Holy Spirit miraculously healed me through Dr. Nemeh! During my appointment, I felt the profound love of God, which brought about a transformation in my body, mind, and soul. I’ve learned so much on this journey from brokenness to restoration, and I continue to grow in God’s love every day. I am forever grateful.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about my story. I pray that it brings hope to you or a loved one. May God bless you!
Love,
Susan
Hallina H – New Hampshire
Listening to the audiobook of “The Power of God Today” provided me confirmation of my decision to visit Dr. Nemeh’s office in Ohio, when I was discerning whether I was up to the journey. This was no small decision for me to enter an airport and fly to Ohio as I had back pain, mobility issues, and sensitivity to fragrances and loud noises.
I managed to overcome these challenges through focusing on my love of God and my love for my family instead of my nervousness or pain. My travel companion and I instead leaned on prayer to soothe our worries. Also re-listening to the chapters of Christine‘s book was a huge boost to my confidence to reassure me along my journey. Hearing her narration on Audible was like a friend sitting beside me, holding my hand, who I knew had been in the same situation before me. God saw me through the journey safely.
I praise Him that He healed my spine that day of intense pain at Dr. Nemeh’s office. This changed my life and instilled in me a deep hope and confidence in the power of God today.
Sue Manternach – Cedar Rapids, Iowa
A few months later, I began experiencing severe bone-on-bone knee pain. As a longtime marathon runner and enthusiastic skier, my knees were not in the best of shape, and I was seriously contemplating surgery. Then, I ran into a friend who had been at the same time facing a similar issue but shared that his knee was miraculously healed through a virtual prayer by Dr. Nemeh. I was amazed and recognized this was no coincidence. I felt the Holy Spirit beckoning me to make an in-person appointment with Dr. Nemeh to explore this further.
Along the way, I learned the importance of approaching the situation with an open heart, releasing past hurts, and simply trusting God. My appointment with Dr. Nemeh was extraordinary, and I hardly know where to begin describing it.
I went in with specific concerns that I believed would be addressed, but also with a deep sense of certainty about other issues as I felt real changes occurring. This tangible sensation boosted my faith that everything else would be resolved.
Upon entering Dr. Nemeh’s office, I was captivated by the beautiful decor filled with religious statues and paintings gifted by patients who had experienced miracles and offered them as tokens of gratitude.
From the moment Dr. Nemeh began working on me, I was completely absorbed in the experience. He seemed to know so much about me without me uttering a word. I hadn’t written anything down or spoken to anyone there about these issues, yet he had a supernatural understanding of my situation. It was truly remarkable!
At that time, I was also dealing with memory problems, which he addressed with concern, acknowledging the serious accidents I had endured over the years contributing to these issues. When he brought them up, I couldn’t remember all the details until his words triggered my memory, including a significant fall I had taken from a great height, landing directly on the top of my head. I had somehow forgotten about this until Dr. Nemeh reminded me, which might sound amusing, but that’s how it unfolded.
Dr. Nemeh suggested that this traumatic injury could have initiated my memory difficulties, with subsequent incidents exacerbating my condition through reduced blood flow and frequent headaches—headaches I hadn’t even mentioned.
I arrived seeking healing for my knee but found myself experiencing healing for a multitude of other issues. Dr. Nemeh’s remarkable ability to identify unspoken concerns was astounding.
He then focused on my circulation, my legs, and both knees, dedicating substantial time to my troubled knee. His approach was filled with love, often meeting my gaze with warmth and a gentle smile. He was incredibly kind and patient.
As the treatment progressed, Dr. Nemeh inquired if I experienced any numbness in my abdomen. I admitted that I did, attributing it to multiple past surgeries. Instead of elaborating, he seamlessly continued his work. Suddenly, he remarked, “There is a lot of movement going on here.”
At that moment, I felt a fluttering sensation within me as Dr. Nemeh continued. It was soothing, reminiscent of receiving a massage, and even after he stopped, I felt ongoing movement—as though my organs were being rearranged. Eventually, I discovered that many concerns I had prior to my appointment had vanished. Everything was healed during that visit.
Before my appointment, I struggled to walk without significant pain and relied on a knee brace to get through the day. Yet, after my session, my knee felt completely healed! I no longer experience any pain. While I no longer run marathons and remain cautious with what activities I will do, I am eternally grateful that God healed me and that I avoided surgery.
Additionally, during my time with Dr. Nemeh in Ohio, I experienced healing in my hearing. For a while I had noticed considerable hearing loss, but since that day, my hearing has been fully restored. I’ve even had it tested and can proudly say I now have perfect hearing.
Initially, I felt selfish for making an appointment with this special doctor, thinking others might need him more. However, Christy warned me that those feelings would come and not to pay any attention to them. She told me I was there for a blessed reason.
Because of my experience and the miracles that I witnessed, I share my story with others and how Jesus profoundly impacted my appointment. I also serve on the board of the Blessed Reason Trip for this very purpose.
Dr. Nemeh taught me many things, the most significant being that my daily life should be centered around living for Jesus above all else.
Butch Milling – Atkins, Iowa
I could share countless stories about how God has healed me through Dr. Nemeh’s prayers, but it’s not just about me; I have witnessed God’s work in the lives of my wife, my grandchildren, multiple friends, and I don’t even know how many others. There are numerous individuals with their own stories, but that is for them to share.
I have experienced healing from stenosis in my back, knee issues that required surgery, leg pain, and more. Each time something serious arose, Christy either heard about it and suggested I schedule an appointment—virtual or in-person—or she received some sort of dream or divine message to share with me. It feels as though God is always looking out for me.
However, it’s important to note that not every request has resulted in an immediate answer. During my first visit to Dr. Nemeh, I didn’t receive the miraculous healing I sought for my back pain. It wasn’t until my next visit, while I was leaving with a group that Christy and Emily had brought, that I discovered a profound quote from Dr. Nemeh in the book “Miracles Every Day.” The quote resonated deeply with me: “Many people come to me for a healing for personal reasons and it will not happen.”
At that moment, I realized that I had been asking for God to heal my back for personal interests like golfing, hunting, fishing, and even dancing with my wife, rather than for a purpose aligned with serving God.
So, I adjusted my approach. When Dr. Nemeh asked what I needed the second trip I made, I told him that Jesus knew my needs and everything about me, so there was no reason for me to specify. In my heart, I promised God that if He healed me, I would share my story with everyone and anyone about what He did for me.
That day, God healed my back, and the pain I had endured for years vanished. I had to test it out by going golfing to confirm my healing, and guess what? There was no pain. I walked freely without discomfort. That was when I understood it was my turn to uphold my end of the bargain—I needed to start sharing my experience.
I began with family and friends, which led many of them to seek prayers for themselves or loved ones. I even reached out to strangers, sharing my story with people in parking lots as I met them on my way to my pickup or walking into a store. This was not meant to be kept secret; it was a gift for others to discover.
On another occasion, I was scheduled for knee replacement surgery. Christy heard about this and encouraged me to seek prayers from Dr. Nemeh again. She arranged a prayer session for me a year after my back healing. This time, I shared my concerns with Dr. Nemeh and his wife, Kathy, who prayed alongside him. I knew how to ask; it wasn’t about me or selfish desires, but rather to continue doing God’s work and sharing these stories and the Gospel with others. Our lives are meant to be about leading people to Jesus.
I didn’t receive an immediate healing for my knee, which left me feeling somewhat disappointed, but I accepted it and knew that my scheduled surgery wasn’t too far away. I shrugged it off and walked away, sad, but I was good. The next morning, I woke up and headed to the basement to empty out our humidifier and noticed nothing unusual at first. I believe it was because I was still slightly groggy yet, so my observations were minimal. Just as I started climbing back up the stairs, I realized something. I had absolutely no pain in my knee. I couldn’t believe it! I rushed back up those stairs to tell my wife about this new miracle.
The stories continue. God doesn’t heal everything, there are times and reasons when something isn’t healed. And sometimes only God knows why, and likewise, we all have a set time on this earth. However, I can assure you that God works through Dr. Nemeh’s complete surrender and honors his prayers. Dr. Nemeh is a vessel, but it is Jesus and the Holy Spirit who perform the healing. Dr. Nemeh offers his time, love, and prayers to God and everyone in his presence.
This journey has been transformative for Mary Lou and me. My wife now serves on the board for the Blessed Reason Trip because we want to contribute to this mission of helping others find healing, hope, and a deeper faith. Experiencing these miracles deepens one’s faith and compels us to know more about our amazing God. We are meant to share our experiences with others. I have learned that by following these simple principles, God will bless you and everyone around you.

I agreed to the conversation, not knowing what any of it was about, only to learn later that God had given her a dream about me that she felt strongly she had to share. The dream struck me deeply because it was a message that God had something for me that would change my life forever.
I was unfamiliar with her ministry, but she provided details about the dream, her work, and handed me her book, “The Power of God…Today.” She invited me to a healing service to be prayed over virtually by some doctor in Ohio. She did all this knowing absolutely nothing about my situation. She had no awareness that I had contracted Covid several months prior and had been enduring significant health challenges ever since. I had been pleading with God for healing, and then Christy appeared with this divine message.
During my battle with Covid, it escalated into pneumonia. Although I eventually recovered from both, I struggled to breathe like I once could, experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, and extreme fatigue even during light activities. At that time, I was in my mid-forties and quite active, so this was not normal. I loved hiking and being in nature, but my symptoms made it nearly impossible to enjoy these activities.
The prayer service was scheduled for Mother’s Day weekend, and I had other commitments, yet I felt a strong calling to attend, so I made a way to be there. On that day, I suffered from a severe migraine and was highly emotional even before my prayer with Dr. Nemeh began. When it was my turn for the virtual prayer, I leaned close to the computer and explained to Dr. Nemeh and his wife Kathy why I was there.
I was definitely anxious and fidgeting in my seat when during the prayers, Kathy called out for me to surrender. I was trying but it wasn’t working.
I made an effort to take deep breaths to relax, but it was painful. Dr. Nemeh continued to pray for me, and again Kathy prompted, “Carrie, you need to surrender.”
I struggled, as taking deep breaths was so painful that it brought me to the verge of tears. Kathy seemed to read my mind, saying, “Carrie…just surrender!”
At that moment, something clicked. I lowered my head onto the table supporting the computer and found I could take deep breaths. I could feel the oxygen making its way to my lungs, and the pain was subsiding. A release washed over me as the Holy Spirit took over. I continued to breathe deeply while Dr. Nemeh prayed, and all the pain in my chest vanished, allowing my lungs to fully expand.
By the end of the prayer, I was overwhelmed with emotion. I thanked Dr. Nemeh and Kathy, then approached Christy to hug her for her courage in sharing her dream and inviting me to this prayer opportunity. Remarkably, as I left, I noticed that my migraine had disappeared during the prayer, which was unusual for me.
The months following this profound prayer were undeniably challenging. I underwent scans of my lungs, which initially showed nodules that seemed benign, only to later reveal that I had invasive mucinous adenocarcinoma of the lung with an extensive lepidic component. In short, I was diagnosed with lung cancer.
When I shared this news with Christy I could sense her confusion with what was happening with me after my prayer. But I knew.
I felt God’s presence guiding me throughout my journey. He led me to Vinton, Iowa, to Christy, and to Dr. Nemeh. By focusing on what God was doing in my life, I was reassured that He was still in control.
On November 5th, 2021, I underwent a successful surgery. Initially, I was expected to remain in the hospital for 7-10 days, followed by an additional two weeks of recovery time at home. Miraculously, I was discharged in just four days. I recognized this was due to the countless prayers from those around me, and I knew Christy was frequently sending Dr. Nemeh my name for additional prayers.
My surgeon remarked that my recovery was the fastest he had ever witnessed among any of his previous patients.
Nearly a year later, in March 2022, I met with Christy and her daughter to share the rest of my story.
I explained how I had always felt a deep connection to God and how I knew that He had placed certain individuals in my life for a greater purpose.
I recounted how I was guided to Vinton, where my husband and I built our dream home. Throughout my struggles with lung issues, I had blamed Covid for my condition, but it turned out that radon exposure was the real culprit. Iowa has the highest average indoor radon levels in the country, making it the leading cause of lung cancer in nonsmokers like me.
Once we identified the source of my lung cancer, we brought in a professional to install a mitigation system to reduce the radon gas and ensure our home was safe.
Reflecting back on that prayer session with Dr. Nemeh, I remember I felt so poorly before it began. I was on a steroid inhaler and feeling pretty terrible. However, during our conversation and prayer, I sensed the Spirit of God flowing through him, even from a distance. I felt wrapped in love and a calming presence.
My spirituality deepened significantly as I grasped what God had done for me and could do for others. It was also my first encounter with the workings of the Holy Spirit. While I had previously prayed to God, Jesus, Mary, and the Saints, I had never directly addressed the Holy Spirit before.
Additionally, that prayer session with Dr. Nemeh resulted in the disappearance of my long-standing migraines, which I had endured since childhood. They had been so severe that I often had to isolate myself in a dark room, avoiding all triggers like light, sound, and smell.
I had tried pretty much everything to get rid of them. For a while I was taking medication but then it eventually stopped working, so my doctor increased the dosage, leading to memory issues and difficulty recalling words. I then resorted to Botox injections, paying over $900 every three months for thirty-one injections in my head and neck. While it worked, the experience was far from pleasant and expensive. Eventually, I began attempting to self-administer injections with different medications, but I still experienced five to six migraines a month despite this effort.
However, after that one prayer with Dr. Nemeh, my migraines became a thing of the past. I canceled all future neurologist appointments and stopped my medication. Occasionally, I have a regular headache like most people, but they are infrequent and nothing like what I endured for years.
I attribute this incredible miracle entirely to God. I also feel the Holy Spirit actively working in my life in countless ways. It serves as a gentle nudge, that inner voice urging me, “You need to do this.”
I had never considered the Holy Spirit before, but now I sense its presence everywhere in my life. I can’t imagine my world without it. I don’t think I could have navigated my lung cancer journey without this connection to the Holy Spirit. Most days, it manifests as a subtle nudge, but there are also significant moments that capture my attention. If one isn’t in tune with these nudges, they may overlook them. Yet, the more one listens, the more you can recognize and become more receptive to it working in your life.
I share my story of healing from migraines with many, telling them about this remarkable doctor in Ohio who prayed to the Holy Spirit. Through his faith and intercession, God chose to heal me.
Christy shared that she dreamed my life would be forever changed, and that is undoubtedly true. My time with Dr. Nemeh empowered me to live more fully by inviting God’s Spirit into each experience and following its guidance. I strive to be more Christ-like and to love others more fully.
I also raise awareness about the dangers of radon and all that Christ has done for me. I want others to know they can cultivate a relationship with God and recognize the nudges of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
My prayer with Dr. Nemeh and his wife Kathy helped me uncover one of God’s greatest gifts to us all: the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Notably, the stiffness and discomfort in my upper back had vanished. Additionally, the pressure in the left temple area of my head, which was caused by Meniere’s disease, had left. Unfortunately, this relief was short-lived as the pressure returned after a few days.
I found it perplexing that my ailments had disappeared only to resurface shortly afterward. During this time, I received a message in my dreams, urging me to release past hurts and embrace forgiveness, suggesting that love in my heart would lead to healing.
Around the same time, Christy reached out to share that she too had received a dream message indicating my healing would continue, but only after I learned to forgive. Admittedly I was in complete awe of the timing.
I have struggled with letting go of the past hurts, but believe for the most part I have worked hard to do so. Because of this, the discomfort in my upper back has disappeared. However, the pressure in my left temple remains more elusive. It tends to fluctuate, yet it is now considerably more manageable than it was prior to my appointment. Christy advises me to pay attention to when these sensations appear and fade. Understanding the timing of these feelings could offer insights to help guide my heart and fully manifest my healing.
It was a worthwhile trip with such loving people to be with. I am so grateful for all of it!
Leon Hartogh – Marion, Iowa
You see I had a stroke a while back that left me unable to read a book since that time. However, since the prayers and time with Dr. Nemeh, this ability has been fully restored. I am now able to read books from cover to cover without any difficulty. For the first time I years I have the ability to read again.
Thank You! God Bless
Luke – Marion, Iowa
One day after Luke had a severe anxious episode at the school, his teacher’s mother (Mrs. Christy Blake) approached me and invited me to learn about Dr. Nemeh. I was moved by our conversation and read the “Miracles Every Day”book she shared about Dr. Nemeh’s story. After that I planned to set up an appointment with Dr. Nemeh over the summer. Luke’s transition to middle school was approaching and I knew that could present challenges. Life got busy over the summer months and I pushed back setting up the appointment. Part of me felt guilty for wanting Dr. Nemeh’s time because there are so many others in the world with larger medical issues in need of healing.
The path I needed to take became clear to me when Luke had another severe anxious episode in the middle of summer. Shortly after the episode, Mrs. Blake contacted me through email. She wanted me to know that our family, especially Luke, had been on her heart recently and encouraged me to set up an appointment if we had not already. That was the sign from the Holy Spirit that I needed.
As Luke’s appointment drew near, family and close friends continued to pray for him. Luke knew about Dr. Nemeh’s miracles and also prayed for a miracle to take away the extreme anxiety he felt daily.
When we arrived at Dr. Nemeh’s practice in Ohio we were in awe of the welcoming and spiritual environment. There were beautiful statues, artwork of the Holy family, and angels displayed everywhere. Luke loved that Dr. Nemeh’s office has the same picture of Jesus that his school has hanging in the upper elementary wing. Luke also saw artwork from his talented teacher which brought him joy. Dr. Nemeh’s wife was so sweet and had an instant connection with Luke, saying that he resembled their son in many ways.
Once we were in the exam room Luke’s anxiety went through the roof and he began having a severe anxious episode. Dr. Nemeh immediately began working and praying. During our time with Dr. Nemeh, my husband spoke with him in depth about Catholic theology and medical practices. The conversation was inspiring and very deep. You could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit while Dr. Nemeh was working, praying, and speaking with us. As we continued to speak of God’s word and discuss our faith, Luke was suddenly at peace. Luke shared later that while he was being worked on by Dr. Nemeh, he was overcome with the knowledge and understanding that he shouldn’t worry and be anxious. He has always known and been told to give his worries to God, but something miraculous clicked and he not only was able to say it but feel and know it.
Luke, my husband, and I left Dr. Nemeh’s office that day changed. He healed the deep anxieties we all were holding and gave us a new perspective on life. We are forever grateful for God’s work through Dr. Nemeh and all those who led us there.
Luke’s story was submitted by his mother Stephanie Sears on September 10, 2024.
Cindi Stueck – Vinton, Iowa
In February 2022, Christy and Emily invited me, along with four other people, three of them I had never met before, to join them on this unique journey. Christy handled all the arrangements, including our lodging, allowing me to simply relax and trust that everything would be okay.
As we traveled from Iowa to Ohio, I reflected on the many reasons for my visit and also all the people I brought with me in my heart. Though I wished to bring my family along, I felt it was essential to first experience this for myself.
In the days leading up to my appointment with Dr. Nemeh, I won’t lie, I felt anxious about what lay ahead. However, everything that followed was nothing short of miraculous, and all my fears dissipated. The entire experience felt completely right, filling me with peace.
During my session with Dr. Nemeh, he noticed a scar on my forehead, situated between my eyebrows. I was astonished when he asked, “Where did that scar come from? Something from your childhood?”
This scar occurred from something terrible that happened to me when I was young. I had it for many years but since my adulthood it had left, and I haven’t seen it since in like 30 years. Then here he mentioned it and could actually see it! I remember thinking, “How is he seeing that?”
I simply nodded in response, as painful memories resurfaced. He offered me a warm smile and a gentle sigh, conveying an understanding that everything was okay. It was a comforting reassurance I can’t quite articulate.
Then he began working on me and stated, “You don’t have a connective tissue disorder.” I was taken aback; multiple doctors had diagnosed me with this condition after past surgeries. I shared this with him, and he firmly repeated, “No, you do not have a connective tissue disorder.” His conviction was clear, and he reiterated it several times throughout the appointment.
Later, while working on my stomach, he paused and asked, “Do you feel that?” After a moment, I realized I could feel movement within me—a gentle, circular counterclockwise motion traveling from my right side all the way across my stomach to the left side. I felt no fear or pain; instead, I experienced a profound sense of peace and a thought that resonated within me- “You are where you are supposed to be in this life.” It was a reassuring moment, confirming that all would be well.
There was more that unfolded during my time, and then the others in our group who came with us had their turns individually. We all sat in the treatment room together, praying for one another as Dr. Nemeh worked on one person at a time for nearly two hours each time. As I sat there reflecting on everything that had transpired, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for being part of it.
Once our appointments concluded, Kathy Nemeh, Dr. Nemeh’s wife, requested her husband to pray for a boy in urgent need. The mother had called in via video, pleading for help. Kathy asked if we could all pray together, and the mother agreed, saying, “The more prayers, the better.”
Due to privacy, I can’t share the specific details, but I can say that something extraordinary occurred during the prayer. We formed a circle as Dr. Nemeh held his right hand over Kathy’s phone during the video call, directed at the son who was in agony.
We joined hands as Dr. Nemeh began praying and then, well I don’t know how to describe it, but I will try.
As we joined hands and prayed, I suddenly felt weightless, as if my feet were no longer touching the ground. We all simultaneously began to move in perfect rhythm, again counterclockwise, as we prayed. This moment was just as significant to me as my individual time with Dr. Nemeh and is something I will never forget.
Christy later explained to me that when Dr. Nemeh said I didn’t have a connected tissue disorder, that is how he sees me walking out of that office. This insight has brought me immense peace, allowing me to stop worrying about that earlier diagnosis. His words come back to me often since my appointment and they help remind me that I am healthy and do not have it. It is gone.
Additionally, the feeling of the Holy Spirit during the prayer for the teenager has stayed with me. I used to overthink life’s events, but I’ve come to believe that everything happens for a reason, although we may not always understand why at the moment. Some things are meant to remain a mystery until they are revealed later.
We must learn to let go and let God.
Regarding the scar above my eye, it is a peculiar thing. Now some days I will see it there, plain as the nose on my face and then the next time I look for it, finding that it is completely gone. I have prayed about this, and I do realize I need to pay more attention to when it is there. There is probably a reason, but for now I believe it is there to help me remember that the hurtful things that happened to me in my childhood are okay to acknowledge. I don’t have to pretend that they didn’t happen. I am meant to still love that person and forgive, but I have learned through this experience that it is also okay to remember what happened in the past. God is with me.
My trip was truly blessed, and I now feel an overwhelming sense of peace.
I look forward to bringing my children and a friend who I know would greatly benefit from an appointment with Dr. Nemeh in the future.
Katie Schultes – Hiawatha, Iowa
The next time I bled heavily, my doctor revealed that the tear had worsened, advising me to return home and simply monitor the situation. After another episode of heavy bleeding, I found myself back in the ER, where I was once again told to wait it out. At that point, I was around sixteen weeks along.
It was during this time that I heard about Christy and Emily Blake organizing a group to see Dr. Nemeh in mid-2019. Although I wanted to join them, my condition prevented me from traveling. I learned they were taking photographs of individuals and asking Dr. Nemeh to pray over them.
Determined to help my pregnancy reach full term, I decided to participate by sending a photo of myself holding my hands in a heart shape, symbolizing the love I had for my unborn child.
During the healing service weekend in October, even though I wasn’t physically present with the group in Ohio, I felt a profound shift within me. It was a transformative weekend that filled me with hope.
At my subsequent checkup, my doctor was astonished to discover that the tear in my placenta was no longer there. She examined me multiple times, bewildered, exclaiming, “I don’t understand this.”
My OB, who had over thirty years of experience and had witnessed many similar cases, explained that this type of placenta tear DOES NOT heal. It’s physically impossible—and now it was completely gone!
She later further admitted that she had never expected me to carry this child past the twenty-week mark after the initial tear; it was merely a matter of time. She acknowledged that there was no scientific explanation for the tear’s disappearance.
I knew the truth. I recognized the miracle God had performed for me. It was not a coincidence but rather a miracle resulting from the prayer over the picture I sent.
From that point on, I experienced no further bleeding, and the remainder of my pregnancy went smoothly. Our daughter, Summer Anne, was born on Friday, February 28, 2020, as healthy as could be! My OB now refers to me as her miracle patient!
All glory goes to God and His faithful servant, Dr. Nemeh, who prayed over my picture with a faith that heals.
Beth Stone – Cedar Falls, Iowa
I was 42 and completely overwhelmed. So many unknowns and several difficult decisions to make on my treatments. My boys were 7 and 9 years old. I was in my fourth month of chemo when I had the opportunity to travel to Dr. Nemeh with Christy and Emily. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was worried about how I would feel on a long road trip.
Christy and Emily made the trip comfortable and relaxing. I was able to rest whenever I needed to.
So many things in my life felt out of my control. After my blessed trip, I began to trust the Holy Spirit and the healing power of prayer.
After chemo, I did radiation and reconstruction surgery. I had several complications along the way, but two and a half years later, I am completely cancer free. God is good!
Diana Solis – Marion, Iowa
Dr. Nemeh’s treatment was nothing short of life-changing. I had been struggling with severe gastrointestinal issues, as well as debilitating anxiety and panic attacks. His care helped me heal in ways I never imagined possible. I am grateful to say that since that time, I no longer need medication for my panic attacks, a true miracle for me.
Beyond the physical healing, this experience deepened my connection to God in ways I can’t fully describe. It gave me peace and a renewed sense of hope. Even more incredible, shortly after returning from the trip, I was blessed with an amazing job in my field, working for a Catholic ministry. I believe with all my heart that this was God’s way of showing me that He is always taking care of me, even in my lowest moments.
This experience continues to be a reminder of God’s grace, love, and timing in my life. I will always be thankful for Christy’s invitation and for the life changing experience with Dr. Nemeh.
Joyce Trampe – Sun City, Arizona
All tests were pointing to a potentially life-threatening condition that had started inside by bones. I was still trying to grasp what was going on and how to relate everything to my family members. Then right around the same time frame that Christy asked Dr. Nemeh to pray for me, I had something very unusual happen to me.
One night, while asleep beside my husband, I was abruptly awakened at a very early hour to the feeling that someone was there with me. As lay there, I had an awareness that something profound had just happened. I sensed that I felt quite warm on the inside, and the more I woke up, the more I became aware of my physical surroundings.
The most apparent observation was that I felt wet clothing on me. This feeling was quite alarming, causing me to rapidly become more alert, only to discover that I wasn’t only wet, I was completely soaked. My entire body, my hair, all of my clothing, and even the bed itself was drenched. I had never experienced anything like this before!
As I continued to become more observant, I quickly found that not only was I lying in a soggy, wet mess, but there was also a detectable foul odor coming from what had been excreted from my body. Before I had become fully conscious, somehow, I already knew that God had touched me that night. I understood that something had occurred, but it would take me several more months before the reality of what that was exactly, to be shown to me.
Months later, I returned to my specialist for a checkup, and they ran all the usual blood tests to monitor my situation. A few days later, I was attending a car show with my husband and decided to rest for a bit on a park bench. Having some free time, I decided to pull out my iPhone to check email and noticed that I had received one from my physician. I clicked on it, seeing that it contained the laboratory reports from my latest blood tests, along with a personal message from the doctor that read, “You are never going to believe this, but all of your tests came back normal!”
Everything came flooding back to me when I read those words. How I woke up that night completely drenched in sweat, and that Christy and Emily were facilitating a healing service in Ohio around the same time. I distinctly felt God’s presence in that moment. That’s when everything fell into place about what truly happened. I sat perfectly still reflecting what God had did for me, now shedding tears about the reality of what had taken place that night.
In June 2020, my husband and I traveled to Ohio for individual medical treatments by Dr. Nemeh and had the opportunity to meet him in person. It was a special experience being there in Dr. Nemeh’s presence. I could tell he already knew so much about me, without me having to say anything. I think he is able to be this way with everyone. It is given to him for a reason. He doesn’t say much about it, but you just know deep down…that he knows. Being in that treatment room is mysterious. It is like somehow Heaven is brought down to this earth.
After my appointment with Dr. Nemeh the Holy Spirit kept working inside me. I began to reroute my life spiritually and moving my walk closer to Jesus. I felt God pouring in me and asking me to start praying for others.
I am so thankful for my time with Dr. Nemeh. This appointment helped me find my way back to Jesus, giving me a brand-new purpose in life – to pray for family, friends, and even strangers.
Julia Theisen – Dubuque, Iowa
She recounted the miracles she had experienced and emphasized that she had witnessed how God powerfully works through his prayers. Her heartfelt message resonated with me, and I appreciated her courage in sharing such personal information with someone she hardly knew.
I asked Christy several questions and eventually revealed my full diagnosis- Triple Negative Breast Cancer Stage 2b, along with the sixteen rounds of chemotherapy I was set to undergo, plus surgery. I expressed my gratitude for her support and openness to her suggestions.
On Friday, May 8th, I had a FaceTime appointment with Dr. Nemeh. It became one of the most beautiful and powerful experiences I had ever had with the Holy Spirit. I felt a profound change within me and sensed healing on multiple levels. Dr. Nemeh’s gentle demeanor moved me deeply; I knew I was in the presence of someone truly special.
As he prayed for me, I felt his words penetrating a small crack in my soul, producing a vibration I had never experienced before—it was pure and transformative. In the midst of his prayer, I fell back on the couch, almost effortlessly. When he asked, “Did you feel that?” I responded with a heartfelt, “Yes!”
I experienced a soothing sensation near the area where the tumor was located. Prior to this prayer, I had felt a “stickiness” in that region, but now I sensed something shifting within me. Dr. Nemeh clarified, “That is the Holy Spirit.” His words were affirming and clear.
The experience was similar to that of a young child getting lost and then joyfully reuniting with their parent again—like an immense sense of relief. For my entire life, I had yearned for that unconditional, loving presence, and in that moment, I finally felt it.
The overwhelming realization of what I had been searching for my whole life struck me later that night. Alone in my bedroom, I lay with the covers pulled up to my head when I felt a playful touch, as if being tucked in by a loving parent. It was beautiful and moved my spirit. I called out, “Is that you, Holy Spirit?” Deep down, I already knew the answer.
The Holy Spirit was indeed there, providing the unconditional love I had yearned for my entire life. My heart overflowed with joy, and I found myself laughing and shedding tears of happiness. The “stickiness” that had plagued me for so long was finally released, and I realized the Holy Spirit was giving me clear evidence of its presence and healing.
I gained a new understanding of my experiences; my trials were a divine gift guiding me on a sacred pilgrimage. After 58 years, I had finally found what I had been searching for. This newfound realization allowed me to surrender completely to my journey. I knew the road ahead would be challenging due to the aggressive nature of the breast cancer, but surrendering to the Spirit allowed my mind to be at peace and guided me toward what was next, in God’s timing.
Following my surgery, I began oral chemotherapy, but I had a severe reaction that left me unable to eat or drink for nearly four days, forcing me to stop treatment. I was informed that I was “actively cancering,” which meant my body was in a prime state for producing more cancer cells. This news prompted my husband and me to travel to Florida to relax and heal.
I hadn’t communicated with Christy for some time, but in March 2021, while in Florida, she felt a nudge from the Holy Spirit to reach out. Unaware of my new “active cancering” situation, she asked how I was doing and if I wanted another virtual prayer with Dr. Nemeh. Her timing was impeccable.
Dr. Nemeh provided the reassurance I needed, confirming that my body was still healing. I view my time with him as a profound connection, and I often hear his voice in my heart. Since then, I have recognized this connection with others and have asked to pray with them, understanding now that this connection is the Holy Spirit.
I would have never done this before; I realize the Holy Spirit works through me, in me, and as me. I’ve come home to my God-given self and journey. Without this newfound connection to the Holy Spirit and feeling at peace within myself, I wouldn’t be sharing my experiences with Dr. Nemeh or praying with others as I do now.
One word to describe my experience that first night in bed is “undeniable.” I cannot doubt what took place. Since that special evening, I find myself more emotional and often moved to tears when reflecting on God’s love for us. I also make an effort to immerse myself in nature, where I feel God’s presence profoundly. Being in the natural world reveals God’s beauty and presence, with the Holy Spirit evident in everything around me.
Trusting in God’s plan has granted me a clarity I had never experienced before. This newfound strength and understanding stem from my relationship with God and the Holy Spirit, which began that evening with Dr. Nemeh’s prayer on May 8th, 2020.
My passion for helping others has grown immensely due to my journey. I am grateful to God for Dr. Nemeh, Christy, and the wonderful relationship I now have with our creator.
Ricardo Galicia – Marysville, California
In my journey of trying to discover an alternate path to healing, I read so many books that I was led in the Spirit twice to Dr. Issam Nemeh—the first time through a book that I read, “Miracles Every Day” by Maura Postens Zagrans. I thought, “Could this be? Why has this doctor come to my attention twice”?
Then, upon reading the book “Cured“, I discovered him again. I was curious, but why or how could I meet this doctor when he lived so far away? It was then when the unthinkable happened…
In late 2021, our world came crashing down as my entire family was diagnosed with Covid-19 during the pandemic. My heart already had thickening on it from the high blood pressure, but with the acquisition of Covid, my Covid became so severe that I was hospitalized. My stubbornness refused any of the treatment I was offered, and upon trying to get better, my heart had developed symptoms of POTS or Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. My heart rate was rising to a dangerous high beats per minute just upon standing up from the hospital bed. I also developed blood clots. Upon getting my heart monitored and an echocardiogram, the results said that my heart was damaged and that there were some parts of my heart that were not functioning. I even read that a part of my heart was dead from a possible heart attack.
I was terrified, wondering if I was going to die. I prayed and prayed for God to give me answers and to give me the chance to be here for my kids. Six months later, on my road to recovery, I still was having heart issues. My heart would feel like it was fluttering or turning upside down daily. It was never the same after COVID. I still prayed, searched for answers, and came across books like “The Power of God…Today” by Christine Blake, leading me to a podcast called “Blind Faith Live.”
It was like God was screaming at me to reach out. I listened to every episode. I was moved by the power that God has moved through so many people’s lives, all through intercession prayer, all through the faith people carried to be seen by Dr. Nemeh. I had to reach out. But how? I searched and looked through Dr. Nemeh’s website when I finally got the courage to purchase a live Zoom meeting link for group prayer.
I joined Dr. Nemeh’s monthly Zoom meeting in July 2022 with nearly one hundred others.
I was sitting in the kitchen on the Zoom meeting while my son Louie was washing dishes. By this time, my family knew that I had been researching Dr. Nemeh and listening to the Blind Faith Live podcasts. We were praying for others when I finally got the nerve to ask for a prayer. It wasn’t about me anymore; I wanted to pray for my wife.
I don’t remember word for word what I said, but I remember starting to tell Dr. Nemeh my prayer…
I started by saying, “I have my own issues, but I would like to pray for my wife….” I then felt heat on my face; it was gentle, a lukewarm heat at first, then it started to intensify greatly, almost burning hot…
I could hear Dr. Nemeh saying, “Do you feel that, Ricardo?” and I calmly replied, “You have no idea.”
The heat on my face rushed from my face to my heart, and at that moment, I was still.
It was the rush of the Holy Spirit that entered me…It was quick…from my face to my throat, next touching my heart. The Holy Spirit touched my heart, grabbed it, squeezed it,…HEALED it!
It beat really fast, a feeling I had never felt before. My heart almost skipped a beat and shifted, which is the best way I could describe it. It corrected it. My heart was beginning to beat normally, and it was something I hadn’t felt before.
In my head, I was thinking, “I can’t believe this! God is touching me!”
I giggled at first, but then I poured out in tears; I was sitting in my desk chair, but the power of the Holy Spirit pushed me back as I leaned in the back of the chair, I began to cry….
My son Louie asked, “Dad, what happened? Are you okay?”
I just chuckled, but then I cried. I had no words. I was wondering, “What had just happened to me?”
I was in awe…
By this point, Dr. Nemeh had already moved on to the next prayer, but I sat in my chair, reflecting in joy, in tears…I never felt more at peace. This was in August or September of 2022.
I didn’t notice anything different right at first, but something definitely changed in me. My love had increased, and my forgiveness of others who have done harm to me had changed. I felt more at peace when I prayed for others on the Zoom call. Fear had left me. I prayed for my wife that she would be healed of her rheumatism. I remember even crying online as this happened to me in front of others.
Now, because of this change, I continue to sign up each month for the Zoom meetings, and in either August or September of the same year, something happened to me that changed me…
I don’t know if I am selfish, but I had to see Dr. Nemeh again. I scheduled a one-on-one Zoom session and then went to see him in person in November of 2022. My life has really changed since then.
We had a new baby this year (2024). I would be lying if I said things were perfect. But I do know since that day, God healed me in more ways than just my physical heart. I have been attending Zoom meets regularly to pray for others and even drove last summer, 2023, to see Dr. Nemeh in person again. Every time, I have felt more at peace. I know this has been a journey of mine, and it is a battle every day.
Recently, I went and got some blood work done and had a heart check with a heart doctor who specializes in the electrical functioning of the heart. He told me my heart was as healthy as a horse! My journey is ongoing, and my faith has been renewed.
I no longer have a fear of leaving this world. I know that my journey is to live for God and do everything under God’s will. I will stay strong in my faith and continue to follow Him as now I am on a new journey to lose weight and make myself healthier to be here for my kids, my wife, and my family.
I hope this story helps inspire people to look for God and believe that anything is possible when you continue to trust in God with all your heart!

Initially, I was quite hesitant and wanted to leave before my prayers even begun. Thankfully, I mustered the courage to stay, and as the prayers began, my anxiety diminished, replaced by a profound sense of peace. This unforgettable experience left me feeling immensely blessed. It was a tremendous experience that I will never forget.
The following morning, I awoke with a newfound sense of joy, convinced that my prayer with Dr. Nemeh had truly touched me. The sensation I felt was akin to an arrow drawn back in a bow, nearly ready to be released. Reflecting on it now seems surreal, but the positive impact on me was undeniable.
Shortly after this experience, I really started to try to grow closer to God and learn more about my faith.
To those who may be hesitant to try something like this for themselves, please let me encourage you that prayer works. God is so good. He cares about us and wants to help us. We just have to be brave enough to ask and follow through.

I had learned that Christy Blake and her daughter Emily were taking a group of people to Ohio for a healing session with Dr. Issam Nemeh in October 2019. Due to my circumstances, I decided to give it a try.
After returning home, Christy was writing a book titled “The Power of God… Today.” She contacted me to ask if I would share my story and the events that transpired. Below is a summary of that story, which is now included in the back of that book.
Our group met with Dr. Nemeh in a monastery in the Cleveland area. When it was my turn for prayer, my foot was still fully encased in the aircast boot. Dr. Nemeh approached and asked me to stay seated.
Dr. Nemeh inquired about my health issues. I explained that I had a broken bone in my left foot (the fifth metatarsal) that was healing very slowly. I also mentioned having rheumatoid arthritis for nearly forty years and suffering from spondylolisthesis, which is a painful condition where the vertebrae slip out of place, usually at the base of the spine. I specified that the issue was with my fourth and fifth vertebrae (L4 & L5), and Dr. Nemeh immediately understood the situation.
He began praying over my left foot first. After a while, I started chuckling as I felt movement inside my foot, completely independent of Dr. Nemeh, who claimed he wasn’t touching it! This sensation was strange yet incredible—it felt like Jello! Clearly, something was happening. Dr. Nemeh also worked on my spine, manipulating it while bending me backward. He felt the vertebrae shifting and confirmed that healing had occurred. Midway through, I started crying, repeatedly saying, “Thank you, Jesus.”
That evening, my foot was noticeably swollen, red, and a bit warm to the touch. I thought this was odd and perhaps a setback, but when I shared this with Christy and Emily the next morning (showing them photos), they suggested it was a sign that blood flow was increasing and healing was taking place. They explained that sometimes, after a healing, one may experience pain, discomfort, or unusual sensations as the healing progresses.
Regarding my back and spine, Christy observed that I seemed to walk and move faster after the healing session, particularly when going down the bus steps, suggesting that my back was likely healed. Additionally, a friend who didn’t go on the trip remarked that my back appeared straighter, as if I was standing taller! One of the symptoms of spondylolisthesis for me was excruciating pain when trying to straighten up after bending over, which required me to do so very slowly. However, after Dr. Nemeh’s prayer, I was able to bend over and stand back up straight without any pain, almost as if my vertebrae had returned to their proper positions!
Concerning my foot, I had an x-ray the day before our trip, which showed improvement, though not complete healing. My next appointment with my podiatrist is on November 14, at which time another x-ray will be taken. Generally, my foot feels better now (and is less swollen than it was the night of the healing session), but it’s difficult to assess its condition after wearing this boot for so long. The x-ray will provide clarity. I praise God for loving me so deeply, touching me so intimately, and facilitating the healing I needed, whatever form it may take.
Who knows what other healing has occurred within me, whether physical, spiritual, emotional, or otherwise? I continue to trust in Jesus. I am grateful for the opportunity to meet Dr. and Kathy Nemeh and for this extraordinary experience!
